If you like a lot of meat then yes, if you like a vegetarian option then also YES. Roasties, Yorkshire puds & gravy .
Good friendly pub. Serves good food. Has good events at weekends, skittle alley and a beer garden for summer. Beer can be a bit pricey however
We went to quicksilver for our kart clubs presentation evening which was held in the skittle alley/back room part of the venue. We had around 80 people in all for a 3 course meal before the presentation. All the food came out really quickly and the main courses were very very good, plenty of meat and potatos and more veg than you could eat. I would highly recommend this place for a party venue or even just a meal if the food is like we had last night. Well done quicksilver.
Lovely staff,nice atmosphere. Menu had plenty of choice of reasonable prices meals. Food was home cooked and very good standard and portions. Will be back as the say best lunch menu in town and I must say I agree
This pub gives you a warm welcome when you walk through the door from the car park. It has outdoor seating but to get to the bar you have to go down some very steep steps. Meeting the landlord is a must, hes very chatty, friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Our meals were lovely and we didn't have long to wait for them. Service with a smile and wonderful company, well done xxx
